CA - E&S Grounding Solutions announced
today that it would carry a full line of
industry standard electrolytic grounding
products, including a unique new cost-saving
line of electrolytic rods, called the E-rod.
“Electrolytic Grounding Rods are the most effective grounding product in
the market place today. The E-rod was designed to maintain this effectiveness
and reduce the costs to the end-user,” said Michael Esparza, president
of E&S Grounding Solutions. “We are very excited about what the impact
the E-rod will have on the market. The reduced costs should encourage the use
of electrolytics in the industry and in the process improve the electrical safety
of the site.”
Electrolytic rods were originally developed to compensate for the drawbacks of
the standard driven ground rod. Specifically, the electrical effectiveness of
standard driven rods are reduced by temperature change, moisture content, and
corrosion. Driven rods also suffer from its inability to handle both high frequency/static
events and massive amounts of electricity in case of an electrical fault. Both
the E-rod and the standard electrolytic rods automatically compensate for these
issues and are maintenance-free.
According to the Business Development Department at E&S, the E-rod and standard
electrolytic rods come in both standard models and custom designed configurations.
State-of-the-art computer modeling software assists the E&S Engineering Department
in developing professional Grounding Designs that will reduce the overall costs
to properly ground complex sites. |
