Grounding Education is Goal of New Website
Torrance, CA - The E&S Grounding Solutions (E&S) today announced the release of a new website designed to assist Architect and Engineering Firms in the proper application of electrical safety principals, specifically regarding safe grounding practices in high-voltage environments, went online May 6, 2004.

The E&S Web site, located at www.esgroundingsolutions.com provides information an architect or engineer needs to learn about this special field of work, said officials from the Business Development Department. The enhanced site - which consolidates previous Internet references - is designed to serve the needs of the architect and engineers community and as well as guide private sector vendors, academics, and students to the latest grounding developments. The site provides grounding technology tutorials, test and evaluation practices, educational program announcements, and information on industry and government updates.

“The E&S team continues to work hard to lead efforts to encourage the use of grounding technologies within the architect and engineers community,” said Michael Esparza, President of E&S. “This comprehensive site offers a broad look into these latest developments, and also provides a sounding board for visitors to share their interests in electrical safety issues so that we may better understand the requirements of our architect and engineers community.”

The new E&S Grounding Solutions website offers background on various grounding and earthing issues, including test & evaluation, grounding standards development, and the E&S Grounding Solutions/G.E.L. Program. In addition, the personnel from E&S business partners can access a special restricted section of the site to learn about their specific electrical safety assessments and other detailed information.

A planned second phase for the website will add multiple information and educational sources, and should be available by the third quarter of 2004, said officials from the Business Development Department.
