Ground Potential Rise (GPR)
Ground Potential Rise (GPR) analysis is
one of the most sought after services in the industry today.
In order to protect personnel, equipment, and the valuable
technology used today, GPR analysis is required by most electric
utilities and Telco companies when operating in high-voltage
environments. E&S Grounding Solutions offers two types
of GPR services to meet your needs, the GPR Calculation and
our premiere service, the GPR Study.
GPR Calculation’s provide all the data required for
T-1 line applications including the total fault current, GPR
voltage, X/R factor, and the 300-volt line. The E&S GPR
Calculation Report includes on site soil resistivity test,
printouts from the custom computer-modeled simulations along
with photos of your site. All the information you’ll
need to get your T-1 lines approved. Fast!
The premiere engineering service offered by E&S is the
GPR Study. The GPR Study includes all the information in the
standard GPR Calculation, including on site soil resistivity
testing and a full analysis of the Step & Touch Voltages
present at your site. The E&S GPR Study additionally provides
all the structural design recommendations needed to eliminate
any potential electrical hazards. Let E&S help you protect
your personnel and equipment from the hazards of operating
in high-voltage environments!
