Did You Know that 8.6% of Employees Die Due to Electrocution?
Electrocution is one of the “Fatal Four” causes of workplace deaths according to the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The other three causes are falls and being struck by or caught between objects. Electrical risks include exposed wiring, faulty grounding, contact with power lines or energized conductors, faulty electrical panels and more.
Did You Know that Lightning Strike Damages Exceed $5 Billion Per Year?
According to the National Lightning Safety Institute (NLSI) lightning strike losses are from $5 to $6 billion per year. A typical lightning strike can cause deaths, injuries and millions of dollars in damages to equipment, machinery and critical infrastructure. Even worse, if the theory of global warming is correct we may see double or even triple the number of lightning strikes by mid-century according to the University of Florida Lightning Research Center.
About E&S Grounding Solutions
We are the experts in electrical grounding design and we work closely with our client’s project engineers, providing them the safest and most cost-effective electrical grounding and earthing solutions available.
We Do Not Sell Any Products – We are Independent Consultants
Unlike other companies, we only conduct independent 3rd party assessments – we do not sell products. We simply provide the technical expertise needed to help electrical engineers design proper lightning protection and surge protection systems that, when connected to a properly designed grounding system, will protect humans and equipment from electrical hazards.

Dan asks, If I run a 120 volt AC feeder from the main service panel (30 Amps) to a subpanel in a garage, do I need to carry the ground wire in the feeder cable to the subpanel ground, which is required to be attached to a ground rod at the garage? If not, can I just...
Steve asks, how does lightning kill multiple animals in a single strike? Herd animals that gather in groups are typically killed not by a direct lightning strike, but by the current flowing through the ground from the strike. What happens is that the lightning strike...
Vighnesh asks, our neutral to earth voltage is fluctuating from 2.5v to 4.5v. We have a separate neutral earthing for UPS and DG and separate body earthing. We also regularly applying salt for earth pits but are unable to resolve our voltage issue. Can you please...
